Provenance
A party game about taste. You win by agreeing with the room, not by being right.
Coming to the App Store · iPhone · iOS 17 and later
How it works
Three minutes to learn, and then an argument
-
One person opens a room and reads out four letters. Everybody else types them in. There is nothing to sign up for.
-
Everyone sees the same card and sorts it, privately, one way or the other. Old money to the right. New money to the left.
-
The room is revealed. You score for landing with the majority. There is no correct answer, which is rather the point.
The decks
Five, and no obligation to own any of them
- The Standard Included The canon deck. Playable with a grandparent or a colleague, and unimpeachable in both cases.
- Late Night $2.99 For rooms that have stopped pretending. A raised eyebrow, never a leer.
- Weddings & Exes $2.99 Two ceremonies, one guest list. A divorce is planned with the same vendors as a wedding.
- Family Money $2.99 Inheritance, and the long patience of the people expecting some.
- Old World $2.99 Titles, draughty houses, and the conviction that money is a recent invention.
Each pack is a one-time purchase · Prices are shown in your own currency in the App Store; $2.99 is the United States tier
